Crowcon CellarSafe carbon dioxide & oxygen monitor
From fermentation through to distribution, carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the most common hazards to health in breweries, cellars and drinks outlets. Carbon dioxide is also the fourth most abundant gas in the Earth's
atmosphere. Long term exposure to
only 0.5% carbon dioxide by volume represents a toxic health hazard. Concentrations greater than 15% carbon dioxide by volume can lead to death. The
Crowcon CellarSafe has been designed specifically to warn personnel
of these hazards.

- Clear back-lit display for gas readings.
- Bright LEDs and loud, distinctive audible alarms.
- IP65 protection against dust and water ingress
- Mains operation, no specialist cabling required
- Continuous monitoring for carbon dioxide in cellars and other confined spaces
- Relay outputs to automatically turn on ventilation fans etc.
- Optional oxygen (O2) monitoring for other asphyxiation hazards
- Optional battery backup for mains failure
- Optional plug-in repeater units complete with cable (9m)
- Optional calibration unit available with automatic sequencing
- Optional calibration equipment:
- Calibration unit complete with gas flow regulator and adaptors
- Carbon dioxide test gas
- Nitrogen test gas (only required where the optional oxygen sensor is fitted)
