The GEA professional gas purge unit is easy to use and enables low pressure purging to be carried out safely in accordance with the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers document IGE/UP/1 (Strength testing, tightness testing and direct purging of industrial and commercial gas installations) and IGE/UP/1A (Strength testing, tightness testing and direct purging of small, low pressure industrial and commercial Natural Gas installations) for purging pipework of up to 100mm (4"), 150mm (6") and 300mm (12")
The GEA Purge Unit can also be used to set up meter regulators under flow conditions to save a second site visit for commissioning.
