The Status Scientific Controls Mentor PGD3
Biogas portable monitor uses the latest miniature infrared technology for the detection of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide
(CO2) in the range 0-100% volume to suit the biogas application.
Infrared sensors allow for an accurate carbon dioxide reading to be obtained and also eliminate the problem of the methane sensor poisoning due to high background levels of hydrogen sulphide.
A built-in motorised pump samples methane and carbon dioxide via the sampling probe whilst background oxygen and hydrogen sulphide levels are monitored simultaneously.
