Tempo TALK2 long range talk and ring system
The TALK2 from Tempo is an essential tool for telecommunications linesman, talk-battery and a ringing generator in a compact and easy to use package. Two connections are provided for a Butt-in test telephone and two for the line. Go 'off-hook' and press RING to call the other end - simple! You can even call both ways with a TALK2 at each end.
TALK2 works over the full local loop - up to 1200 Ohms resistance. Ideal for splice to splice link-ups and work on severed lines. If the cable is cut, connect to the severed pair and call to say you are working on it.
Replaces the now obsolete DSTS 5 field test set.
